Discussion on the Current Status of Contract Nurses and Human Resource Management Strategies

Abstract:

Objective To develop targeted nursing human resource management measures by analyzing the current situation and existing problems of using of contract nurses. Methods The using of contract nurses were analyzed based on the hospital human resource statistics and the existing problems in contract nurses' human resource management were sorted out by means of interview and a questionnaire was made for investigation and analysis. Results With the change of hospital employment form the proportion of enterprise nurses in nursing staff has been decreasing year by year and contract nurses became the main force of hospital nursing work. In the survey it was found that low salary was the highest concern of contract nurses55.88%. Other problems that attracted high attention mainly focused on employees' lack of sense of belonging48.04%), difficult of promotion46.08%), lack of opportunities for further study39.22% and imperfect performance evaluation mechanism 31.37%. Conclusion Hospitals should strengthen the human resource management of contract nurses establish a perfect personnel management system carry out targeted training and education career planning and humanistic care improve the specialized nursing skills of contract nurses professional identity and sense of belonging improve the quality of hospital nursing.
